Report a correction

Found a factual error, a broken link or confusing advice? Send the page address, the passage and what you think needs changing through our contact form.

Send enough detail to check

Choose “Content correction” in the contact form. Include the page URL and quote the relevant sentence. Explain the problem and add a source link if you have one. For a sizing or price issue, include the product model, seller and date you checked. Leave out medical records, payment details and other people’s personal information.

How a correction should be assessed

The correction process starts with the reported passage and its supporting source. A changed manufacturer specification calls for checking the current document; a health claim may need veterinary review. A report is a request for assessment, rather than an automatic change. We do not promise a response deadline.

What a clear change note records

A substantive correction should identify the page, the date, the information changed and the evidence supporting the change. The format below shows those fields. It is a proposed format, not a record of past corrections. Minor spelling fixes need not imply that every claim on a page has been rechecked.

Your practical checklist

Add a brief note beside each task, then print this guide. These notes stay in this page and are not saved or sent.
